I have been privileged to be editor-in-chief of BUSINESS WEEK for the past 15 years. What a time! Imagine having a front-row seat in the global theater, the opportunity to help chronicle the great events of our era every single week. Yet in many ways, 1999 has been the most momentous year in all of BUSINESS WEEK's history: As our 70th anniversary coincided with the dawn of the New Millennium, we introduced dynamic new additions to the BUSINESS WEEK family.

That helped us rack up one helluva year on the business side, too. We broke every record--in circulation, revenues, and earnings--and we did it everywhere around the world and in cyberspace.
