Israel's CommTouch Software Files to Sell Shares Through IPO

CommTouch Software Ltd., which developed a free e-mail system that lets users send messages in more than a dozen languages, filed to sell shares in the U.S. and raise as much as $60 million to fuel expansion in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Based in Ein Vered, Israel, and Sunnyvale, California, CommTouch filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Friday to sell common shares. The company will disclose the number of shares to be sold and their price in a supplemental filing.
