SunTrust Banks Inc. bought the naming rights to the Atlanta Braves’ new $672 million stadium in Cobb County, which is set to open for the 2017 Major League Baseball season.

The 41,500-seat stadium will be called SunTrust Park, Braves Chief Executive Officer Terry McGuirk said today at a news conference and groundbreaking. Braves Hall of Fame outfielder Hank Aaron attended the event, as did MLB commissioner-elect Rob Manfred.
