Hurricane Odile Leaves Trail of Los Cabos Destruction

Hurricane Odile, the strongest to hit Mexico’s Baja California Sur state in decades, left 30,000 stranded tourists and a trail of destroyed homes and damaged hotels after battering the Los Cabos resort area.
The storm flipped vehicles, cut power and flooded streets in the southern part of the Baja California peninsula, according to televised images and newspaper photographs. No deaths were reported as of today at 3:00 p.m. local time.
