GetTaxi Inc. is offering a flat $10 fare in Manhattan as the car-hailing application elbows its way into a market where Uber Technologies Inc. and Lyft Inc. are already jockeying for riders.

The company, which operates its black-car business under the Gett brand in the U.S., said in a blog post yesterday that the offer will continue in New York through the end of the year and that there’s no limit on the number of rides a person can take. The promotion only applies to rides entirely in Manhattan, and trips over an hour will cost extra.
