Argentina Bondholder NML Capital to Appear in N.Y. Court

Lawyers representing Argentina and a group of bondholders led by Elliott Management Corp.’s NML Capital will appear in court today in a case that could trigger a debt crisis in the South American country.
U.S. District Judge Thomas Griesa set a 2 p.m. conference in Manhattan federal court to discuss the U.S. Supreme Court’s refusal to consider Argentina’s appeal of his rulings that require it to pay holders of defaulted bonds when it pays holders of its restructured debt.
