Toshiba, Hitachi Plant Picked to Conduct Radiation Tests

Toshiba Corp. and Hitachi Plant Technologies Ltd. were among companies selected by the Japanese government to carry out radiation decontamination tests following the Fukushima disaster.
The Japan Atomic Energy Agency selected 25 companies and institutions including Obayashi Corp., Taisei Corp. and Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., the government-affiliated agency said in a statement today. The decontamination projects are scheduled to be completed by Feb. 29, the agency said last month.
