German, U.K., Swedish Left Calls for G20 Deal, Handelsblatt Says

German, U.K. and Swedish Socialist and Labour Party leaders called on the Group of 20, meeting in Cannes, to come up with a global plan for growth and stronger political leadership during the debt crisis, Handelsblatt reported in its online edition.
Sigmar Gabriel, the chairman of Germany’s Social Democratic Party; Ed Miliband, the leader of the U.K.’s Labour Party, and Hakan Juholt, the chairman of the Swedish Social Democratic Party, suggested a "new deal" for economic growth, according to the newspaper.
