European Coal Prices Climb for Third Session to $129.50 a Ton

Benchmark European coal prices advanced for a third consecutive session.
Thermal coal for delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp with settlement next year rose 50 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $129.50 a metric ton as of 11:14 a.m. in London, according to broker prices compiled by Bloomberg. That’s the highest intraday price since Aug. 1.
