Mauritania Renews Four Gold Exploration Licenses, AMI Reports

Mauritania’s government renewed two gold exploration licenses for Tasiast Mauritanie Ltd., a unit of Toronto-based Kinross Gold Corp., the state-owned press agency AMI said, citing the Council of Ministers.
Two other gold exploration licenses were renewed for locally-owned Atlantic Metals Mauritania S.A., the council said after its weekly meeting yesterday, according to AMI.
