Centamin Egypt Unaffected by Turmoil; Shares Soar

Centamin Egypt Ltd., a gold company operating in the North African nation where weeks of street protests led to the ouster of the country’s president, said production hasn’t been affected by the political turmoil.
The company’s shares rose as much as 8.9 percent in London trading after Hosni Mubarak stepped down as Egypt’s president today, after earlier slumping by as much as 8.6 percent.
