Tiger Woods will remain the world’s top-ranked golfer for at least another week, even after his worst four-round result as a professional golfer.

Phil Mickelson finished in a tie for 46th place at the Bridgestone Invitational, which wasn’t good enough to end Woods’s 269-week stay atop the Official World Golf Ranking. Mickelson would have topped the table for the first time by finishing fourth or better.
