With the iX, BMW has built one of the first bona fide SUVs on the EV market. It marries Ikea-friendly interior space with a rash of futuristic details, including an infotainment system that responds to hand gestures. The car also gets 516 horsepower, decidedly on-brand for the German marque. What’s unique: The panoramic sunroof goes opaque at the push of the button, which keeps the cabin cool on hot days.
