Bukhman is a co-founder of Playrix, the largest developer of mobile games in Europe. The Dublin-based company's free-to-play mobile games include Gardenscapes, Fishdom and Township. Brothers Igor and Dmitry Bukhman founded the company in 2004. More than 100 million people play its games each month.
The majority of Bukhman's wealth is derived from his 48% stake in Playrix, a games developer.
Playrix had revenue of $2.6 billion in 2024. It's the largest developer of mobile games in Europe and has more than 100 million monthly users, according to its website.
The value of his cash investments is based on an analysis of dividends, insider transactions, taxes and market performance.
Igor and Dmitry Bukhman were born and raised in Vologda, Russia. Their father was a veterinarian and their mother worked as a personnel officer in a factory.
The brothers both attended the Vologda State University where they became interested in programming and produced their first game in 2001. By 2004 they had built three games and founded their development company Playrix.
The emergence of mobile gaming on smartphones in about 2010 led to strong growth at Playrix. After opening an office in Dublin, the brothers re-located to Ireland in 2014. Gardenscapes, one of their most successful games, produced revenue of more than $1 billion in 2019.
In 2022, the company had about 120 million mobile-games users each month.
