Fed to Cut in Late 2026 as Oil Shock Subsides: Allspring
Lauren Van Biljon, senior portfolio manager at Allspring Global Investments, discusses her view that the European Central Bank and Federal Reserve are set to go in opposite directions on monetary policy. "The ECB, I think they will raise rates," Van Biljon says during an interview on Bloomberg Television. "Our base case for the Fed is still that they cut, but maybe it's not until the fourth quarter," she adds.
