Representative Jake Auchincloss (D-MA) says Xi Jinping is projecting confidence at the US-China summit and urges the US to “watch what he does” after President Trump said Xi would not send weapons to Iran. He calls on Congress to pass a War Powers Resolution after another vote failed in the House Thursday. Rep. Auchincloss also says a federal gas tax holiday would do “nothing” to ease energy costs, and questions whether the administration would defend Taiwan.
