Trump 'Spooked' by Oil Market Volatility, Braw Says

Atlantic Council Senior Fellow Elisabeth Braw talks about US President Donald Trump's claims about talks with Iran being under way to end the conflict in the Middle East. Speaking on Bloomberg Television, Braw calls the situation "extraordinary" and that it is difficult to predict what Trump is going to do. "What seems to be the case is that he is spooked by the volatility of the oil market and he's trying to bring the oil price down because it's affecting American consumers," she adds. "This extension of the deadline seems to be part of that effort."
