Chip Designer Silicon Motion Sees Diversification Gain
Taiwan-based Silicon Motion's US-listed shares surged after the company reported better-than-expected first quarter revenue forecast. Its CFO Jason Tsai says the company is expecting a further boost from scaling new projects this year, despite being affected by rising costs of components and memory.
