Lawal: 2026 EM Growth Expected to be Solid
Emerging market assets traded lower after an initial pop higher following the Fed's 25 basis point rate cut. Omotunde Lawal, Head of EMEA Corporate Credit and Emerging Markets Corporate Debt at Barings told Bloomberg’s Jennifer Zabasajja on Horizons Middle East and Africa, dollar will trade softer in 2026 and support EM carry trades.
