Fed's Logan Says Modestly Restrictive Policy Still Appropriate
Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Lorie Logan says she is not seeing convincing evidence that the US economy is moving toward the Fed's 2% inflation target and modestly restrictive policy is still appropriate. Speaking at the 2025 Energy Conference in Denver, Logan also says the labor market is cooling, which the Fed will continue to monitor.
