Microsoft’s $9.7B Move to Tackle the AI Capacity Crunch
Microsoft is locking in more AI firepower. The tech giant is signing a $9.7 billion deal with Australia’s IREN for access to Nvidia systems in Texas. The five-year pact makes Microsoft IREN’s biggest customer, part of a broader scramble to secure scarce computing power.
