Shutdown Ending Could Spur 'Flurry' of IPO Activity

Ted Smith, president of Union Square Advisors, says he sees a strengthening in the IPO market this year compared with the past two years. He notes there are twice as many tech IPOs and that the market remains open from an investor perspective. He tells Romaine Bostick and Katie Greifeld on “The Close” that a “flurry of activity” may follow once the government shutdown ends.
