STATE Bags CEO on Back-to-School Season, New Partnerships
Jacq Tatelman, CEO and co-founder of State Bags, says the idea for the company came about 15 years ago when she and her husband started a nonprofit summer camp for kids in Brooklyn who often arrived with their belongings in trash bags or ripped bags. That inspired them to launch a one-for-one backpack brand, donating a bag to American kids in need for every one sold. She speaks with Romaine Bostick and Matt Miller on “The Close.”
