Noah Lyles cemented himself as a track great when he won the 100m gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which gave him the title fastest man in the world. Since then he has been competing all year in the Diamond League and the World Athletics Championships which he has already won six times. Lyles has long been critical of the fact that World Athletic titles don't hold as much weight amongst casual fans as an Olympic title. During in an interview with Bloomberg's Vanessa Perdomo he outlined what he thinks is wrong with the sport and how he thinks he can change it.
