Bessent Suggests Fed Rates Should Be 150-175 Bps Lower
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says the Federal Reserve could be heading into a series of rate cuts beginning with a 50 point cut in September. “We should probably be 150, 175 basis points lower," Bessent said on "Bloomberg Surveillance."
