Senate Leader Thune Sees Changes for House SALT Deal
The deal that led to an increase of the maximum deduction for state and local taxes to $40,000 in the US House will have to be changed in the Senate, according to the office of Majority Leader John Thune. Several Republican senators have expressed concerns over the bill’s cost as well as cuts to Medicaid and clean energy tax credits. Joshua Gallu reports on Bloomberg Television.
