Fiscal Package Hope for Germany, Says Schnitzer

The German economy shows "signs of recovery," says Monika Schnitzer, chair of the country's independent council of economic experts, despite forecasting stagnation this year. "The government has a sense of urgency that is needed now," she adds. Schnitzer says she is a "bit surprised," by PMI data which showed Germany’s private sector unexpectedly shrank in May.
