Carney Says Canada's Old Relationship With US Is Over
Mark Carney, speaking in Ottawa after his Liberal Party was projected to win a fourth consecutive election, said Canada's old relationship with the US is over, and that the nation has "many, many other options than the United States to build prosperity for all Canadians." Carney, a former central banker, campaigned on standing up to US President Donald Trump in a trade war.
