Cooperation Between Germany's CDU and AfD 'Inevitable' in Long-Term: Langenbacher

"It's possible, if not inevitable" that Germany's CDU/CSU will govern with the AfD, as a means to pursuing a conservative agenda, says Eric Langenbacher, teaching professor at Georgetown University. "That's not going to happen this time around," he adds, but "in four years, maybe in eight years," the current electoral front-runners could "make their peace with the AfD."
