US to Remain AI Leader Under Trump, Vance Says
US Vice President JD Vance said the United States is "the leader in AI" and the Donald Trump administration "plans to keep it that way" by ensuring "the most powerful AI systems are built in the US with American-designed and manufactured chips." Speaking to an audience at the AI Action Summit in Paris, Vance also criticized the European Union's regulatory approach to artificial intelligence.
