UniCredit Profit Beats Estimates
UniCredit SpA reported a profit that beat analyst estimates and plans to return €9 billion ($9.27 billion) to investors on last year’s earnings, including some payments it already made. The results give Chief Executive Officer Andrea Orcel a boost as he pursues a series of unsolicited takeover approaches to consolidate UniCredit’s position as a top European bank.
