Washington DC Plane Crash Latest; Tesla, Meta Shares Rise On Tech Earnings | Bloomberg The Pulse

A regional jet flown for American Airlines collided in a deadly midair crash with a military helicopter as it flew into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The CRJ700 regional jet carrying 60 passengers and four crew had come in from Wichita, Kansas, when it hit the Sikorsky H-60 Black Hawk helicopter with three military personnel on board while approaching the runway just before 9 p.m. local time. Search and rescue operations for survivors in the Potomac River is ongoing. US President Donald Trump said the plane crash is a “bad situation” that looks like “it should have been prevented,” according his post on Truth Social. American Airlines CEO Robert Isom said in a video statement that the carrier was actively working with state and federal authorities. On corporate news, it was a mixed bag of earnings for US tech.
