Fahmy: Fall of Assad Marks End of Era in Arab World
Opposition forces have taken control of Syria, driving out President Bashar Al Assad, and ending the family's 50 year rule over the country. Dalia Fahmy, Director of International Relations and Diplomacy & Associate Professor of Political Science at Long Island University told Bloomberg's Horizons Middle East and Africa host Joumanna Bercetche that this moment marks a change in the Arab world - similar to what we've seen in Egypt and Tunisia.
