Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah have agreed to a 60-day ceasefire brokered by the US and France. Mehran Kamrava, Professor of Govenrment at Georgetown University in Qatar spoke to Bloomberg's Horizons Middle East and Africa host Joumanna Bercetche and said that while the deal might not last long if both sides start to retaliate, this ceasefire, if observed, can be seen as the first step in ending the wider conflict.
