Opinion: Mass Killings Test China's Crime Narrative

Chinese media reports say multiple were injured after an SUV rammed into a crowd at a primary school in Hunan province. It comes after two recent fatal incidents: in the southern city of Zhuhai, where a man drove his car into a crowd, killing 35; and in Jiangsu province, where a 21-year-old stabbed eight people to death. Bloomberg Opinion columnist Karishma Vaswani says the violence is testing Beijing's control of the public narrative.
