IMF Chief Touts Progress on Digital Payments
Kristalina Georgieva, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, says she is seeing “tremendous progress” in financial inclusion. She says about 63% of Peruvians now have access to financial services, but more work has to be done. She speaks at the APEC CEO Summit in Peru.
