This year’s United Nations’ Climate Change Conference, known as COP29, takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan. The overriding objective is money at a time when the rich world is grappling with inflation, constrained budgets, rising populism, as well as two major conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.
