EU Should Defend Itself Against Chinese Protectionism, French Minister Haddad Says
France's minister for European affairs told Bloomberg Television the European Union needs to fight protectionism from China and the US. "The United States has put 100% tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles. There's no reason why, faced with the same subsidies, faced with the same issue of unfair trade practices, the European Union should not be able to defend itself," Benjamin Haddad said.
