Pimco Inflows Continuing ‘Strongly,’ Allianz CEO Says

Allianz CEO Oliver Baete said inflows at Pimco are continuing at a rapid pace as investors flock to active bond management. “We’re very, very happy about the strong flows that are happening and they will continue,” Baete told Bloomberg's Tom Mackenzie during an interview in Berlin. Pimco, one of the world’s biggest bond managers with total assets of almost $1.9 trillion, has benefited from clients’ returning appetite for bonds, recording €13.4 billion inflows from outside clients in the second quarter.
