Trump Unlikely To See Jail Time After Hush Money Guilty Verdict, Says Fordham
Donald Trump was found guilty in the first criminal trial of a former US president in the nation’s history. Tina Fordham, founder and geopolitical analyst of Fordham Global Foresight tells Bloomberg that the former US President is unlikely to see jail time; only a fine or penalty. Trump, 77, still faces three other criminal trials, including two accusing him of trying to overturn the 2020 election, and one involving his handling of classified national security documents. Trump faces as many as four years in prison when he is sentenced by Justice Juan Merchan on July 11 — four days before the Republican National Convention begins.
