Crypto Miners Prepare for the Bitcoin ‘Halving’
Halving is an event that happens for bitcoin roughly every four years, and is expected to occur around April 20. It is a planned reduction in the rewards companies receive for mining. As the name suggests, each halving cuts the quantity of Bitcoin that miners receive per block reward in half. Bloomberg's Annabelle Droulers reports.
