Lagarde: ECB Will Likely Cut Rates in the Summer
The European Central Bank is likely to cut interest rates in the summer, according to President Christine Lagarde. “I would say it’s likely too,” Lagarde said when asked if there could be majority support for such a move, given that several policymakers have signaled that timing. She made the comments at Bloomberg House on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
