Giant Tuna Sold for Nearly $800,000 at Tokyo Market New Year's Auction
At the annual auction in Tokyo's Toyosu fish market, the highest priced bluefin tuna that weighted 238 kilograms (525 pounds) was sold for 114.2 million ($788,440) to seafood wholesaler Yamayuki and sushi chain operator Onodera Group.
