Javier Milei is sworn in as Argentina's new president in Buenos Aires on Dec. 10. The libertarian leader is promising to eradicate inflation and rescue the nation’s troubled economy with a shock-therapy program based on drastic cuts to public spending. During a speech, Milei warned there will be pain ahead as he tries to pull the country out of an economic crisis.
