Apollo's Slok Sees No More Fed Hikes Despite Hot CPI Report
Apollo Partner and Chief Economist Torsten Slok says the Federal Reserve might need to "step a little bit harder on the brakes," but doesn't expect the central bank to raise interest rates to tame an uptick in core inflation. "I don't think we'll get more Fed hikes, but they still need to keep rates elevated to make sure that the service sector starts to slow down," he says on Bloomberg Television.
