Mercedes-Benz Group CEO on Q2 Results, EV Demand
Mercedes-Benz Group CEO Ola Kaellenius said the company had a very strong Q2, despite the Chinese economy not gaining the momentum many expected. He's added that he's confident demand for EVs will grow, but the company's transition to producing only EVs is "a marathon". He's also commented on the cargo ship carrying nearly 3,000 automobiles, which is on fire off the coast of the Netherlands, saying one tenth of them are Mercedes.
