Martin Franklin Eyeing US Firms With New Buyout Vehicle
Serial dealmaker Martin Franklin says his latest buyout vehicle will likely target US firms for acquisition with the proceeds raised in an initial public offering. "The most likely place for us to make an acquisition would be in the United States. One of our themes that we're very interested in is the offshoring of manufacturing," he says on "Bloomberg Markets."
