Charting a Path for Hydrogen Planes
When Congress passed the IRA last year, it included a lucrative set of tax credits meant to kickstart clean energy technology like green hydrogen. The global aviation industry meanwhile is trying to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and hydrogen is a key part of that plan. Universal Hydrogen is the company behind a successful 15-minute test-flight of a hydrogen-powered plane in Washington state. Paul Eremenko, Universal Hydrogen's co-founder and CEO, joined Bloomberg's Alix Steel and Dani Burger to talk about the future of hydrogen air travel.
