China Holds Military Exercises Around Taiwan
Video released by China's state broadcaster CCTV show the country's military conducting drills in unknown locations and in the Taiwan Strait over the weekend. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that on Sunday it detected 70 aircraft from China’s People’s Liberation Army and 11 warships near Taiwan as of 4 pm. (Source: CCTV via APTN)
