Marathon Bought Credit Suisse Debt Before UBS Takeover, CEO Richards Says
Marathon Asset Management Chair and CEO Bruce Richards says buying the short-term debt of Credit Suisse’s operating company is the "biggest thing" his firm has done in the banking sector recently. "We avoided all the longer-term debt and just bought the OpCo debt in the low 80s that are worth high 90s or par now," he says on "Bloomberg Markets."
